Beautiful caravan site in a lovely location. I think the only thing is it could do with a little shop selling the basics.

This is a fantastic holiday park. We had a lodge & it was beautiful. Loads of space 3 bedrooms. Your own parking space. A family run park. It is very well looked after. From reception staff to the gardeners who work in rain or shine & make the gardens look fantastic. You are only a few hundred yards from the beach & again looks fantastic. If you like your holiday away from town & near the beach. This is the place to stay. This is a great place to walk or cycle along the coast road. There is Drift cafe & an ice cream shop also a small shop on the site next door for your day to day items. Great place to stay

One of the best sites we have visited, great staff, excellent location, stayed in the expanded section of the park, it has been well thought out and the caravans are not pakcked in like sardines. Nice relaxing holiday, the dogs enjoyed the local beaches and park. Enjoyed it that much we are returning next year! Thanks.

Lovely place to stay. Caravan modern and clean. Site is immaculate, gardens well kept and no litter. The team are very friendly and helpful. Club house great for the kids. The BH Family Fun Day was great. Kids got to see a magic show, attend a disco and had facepainting the days after the BH. The kids loved the park too. The grandchildren didn't want to leave. The beaches nearby are lovely too. A great time had by all.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at a lovely, friendly Holiday Park. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Grounds are immaculate. The lodge was very clean and very comfortable, there was some works going on behind us but it didn’t disturb our holiday. Look forward to coming back next year!

I wish all holiday venues were managed like this place the static caravans super clean and the grounds are immaculate. The stall are extremely helpful. If you want to experience the Northumbrian coast this is a great place to stay.

My grandparents had a caravan here when we were growing up & we have very fond memories of the Golden Sands. The site has now expanded, and the van we booked was at the new top end. It was nice and is now the best part of the site. But the caravan itself was nothing out of the ordinary. That said, it was clean and quiet and had all modern amenities. The original site is packed like sardines with mismatched caravans. It's quite an eye sore. All thoughts of buying a caravan here were quickly dismissed. The vans in the new expanded site are better laid out, and it's a better atmosphere. Great location for the beach, and there's no doubt it's a great beach.
